  Very impressed with the new look, menu and staff. The potato skins were amazing. The Bloody Mary was one of the best I have ever had. And Rob was one of the nicest waiters we have ever had. He had so much personality and charm that we can't wait to go back! Let's try to keep St. James people in St. James!

  I used to go here when it was Grant's Place, it has now run by a couple of enthusiastic young men who showed me around a couple of days before they opened. This is the first day of business so I made a point of dropping in. They have remodeled the place and it looks great! I arrived late, around 10 pm and the place was buzzing with relaxed conversation.
  
  The new menu looks impressive with regard to selection, pricing may be considered ambitious to some but if the dishes taste as good as what I have seen being serves it will be a fun to explore.
  
  They have a nice beer selection that includes some local brews. I tried three of them and they all had the same strange metallic taste, perhaps something to do with the brand new equipment, we will assume that for now.
  
  I gave a full 5 stars because they are off to a good start, let's hope it continues. This location has been the home to many short term ventures, maybe this one will stick around for a while.

  PS. I tried the beer a few days later and I am happy to report that it all good now.
